Career Summary

Cannon Matthews is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the safeties coach for the Dallas Cowboys since 2024. Before moving into this role on the Cowboys he held three other positions with the team. His previous position was as the team's assistant defensive backs coach for one season. He began his stint with the Cowboys in 2020 as the defensive quality control coach.
